There are several reasons people choose to be more prepared. What's your biggest concern? 

I didn't see an all the above box. Same preps mostly cover them all - water, food, guns, ammo & pm or barter items. The most immediate threat I think would be hurricane - only months until hurricane season.

Economic collapse.

I just realised due to this thread that i have been a prepper for quite a while now and did not even know it.

Just recently I have placed myself into a "Safe Zone" so that a total economic collapse would not become my total Ruination and Annihilation.

Wow! I have always been a prepper.

But have no food storage facilities so i would have to eat me some grub worms ever now and then. But i am a survivalist at heart anyhows!

One I don't see up there is government collapse ... In one form or another atleast wheather a complete collapse civil unrest or the govt pushing to far into citizens lives ? I'm kinda an all the above person but I put a govt callapse number 2 on my list after financial crisis and one that seems more and more likely everyday and could lead to civil unrest and hyperinflation and economic collapse ..... 

Part of my "prep" is getting the tires on my wheelbarrow fixed so I will be able to load all my $$$$ in order to go to the store and buy a loaf of bread!! :/

Hyperinflation is inevitable. It is impossible to support the debt we have without it. It WILL happen. It has to happen.

And gold? Worthless. You can't eat it. No one will really want it if the SHTF.

AMMO, FOOD, WOMEN (not sure about that last one but what the heck).
